Matthew J. Burkinshaw
Matthew J. Burkinshaw practices law in Milford, Massachusetts with Burkinshaw Law Offices, P.C. He has practiced exclusively in the areas of Creditors’ Rights, Commercial and Retail Collections and Business Law for over 13 years. Mr. Burkinshaw received his B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from the Boston College Carroll School of Management in 1990. He then moved on to Suffolk Law School in Boston where he graduated in 1993, also with honors. He has been a member of the Commercial Law League Association since 1998, currently serving on the Executive Council of Creditor’s Rights Section of the League as well as Chairman of the New England Region of the League.
Mr. Burkinshaw has published several articles in trade periodicals regarding Commercial Law and Creditors’ Rights issues and regularly speaks before Chambers of Commerce and other business groups on the subjects of Creditor’s Rights and Collection Law.
Mr. Burkinshaw is an active member in the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Regional United Chamber of Commerce and is an 8-year member of the 495 Business Builders Chapter of Business Networking International, where he has held several officer positions, serving most recently as President and Treasurer.
